Product Introduction:

Low smoke halogen free (LSZH, LSOH for short) is the material classification of wire jacket in the wire and cable industry. The low-smoke halogen-free wire sheath consists of a thermoplastic or thermosetting material with low smoke emission and no halogen when heated. The network conductor cladding is mostly composed of polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride or thermoplastic polyurethane. If it catches fire, the chlorinated plastic releases toxic hydrogen chloride. If it encounters water, it produces hydrochloric acid. Low-smoke halogen-free materials do not release hydrogen halides or other acids when ignited. Low-smoke halogen-free materials can reduce the toxic and corrosive gases produced during combustion. Low-smoke halogen free materials are often used in poorly ventilated environments such as aircraft, train cars or ships. Low-smoke halogen-free materials are also widely used in the railway industry because there are high voltage or signal lines under the railway to transmit the train position. The use of low-smoke halogen-free materials also reduces the accumulation of toxic gases in the event of a line damage fire or short circuit.
