PEEK high-temperature material screw barrel

JED PEEK extruder screws are designed to match your production needs and material properties. PEEK has a high melting point (343°C), and the processing temperature needs to be precisely controlled between 360-400°C. JED screws are selected and designed to be heat-resistant, wear-resistant, and provide sufficient shear force.

Key parameters:

• Screw diameter: Determines output. Screw diameter ranges from 25mm to 150mm.
• Length-to-diameter ratio (L/D): Affects plasticizing effect. For PEEK processing, an L/D ratio of 28:1 or higher is recommended.
• Speed ​​and torque: Require stability and adjustability. Speed ​​range varies from 5 r/min to 600 rpm, and torque density is recommended to be ≥12 Nm/cm³.
• Temperature control: Segmented temperature control accuracy must reach ±1°C. Barrel temperature range is typically 290°C-430°C.
